Preorder Dates for WooCommerce

Pre-order with
two dates,
not one.

One date for when orders close. A separate date for when the release ships. Set it on the whole product, or on a single variation.

What it does

Two dates. Zero manual cutoff work.

Free on WordPress.org, with everything below already working today.

Two independent dates

Set a cutoff for when pre-orders stop, and a separate release date for when the item ships. Works on the whole product or on a single variation.

Blocks the sale by itself

Once the cutoff date and time pass, the product stops being purchasable. Shoppers see your closed message instead of "Add to cart".

Built for HPOS and block checkout

Pre-order validation runs through WooCommerce's Store API, the same code path the cart and checkout blocks use.

If you only need one date, either alternative above already does that well. If you need the cutoff and the release date to be different, this is the one built around that. What the free version does not do, yet. No mixed-cart control: pre-order and in-stock items can sit in the same cart today, and Pro adds the option to warn about that or block it. No reminder email: Pro emails the customer a few days before the release date. No bulk editing: moving the dates on many products at once is a Pro feature. Deposits, partial payments and back-in-stock waitlists are out of scope for both versions; pair a dedicated plugin for those.
